Frequently asked questions
Didn’t find your answer? Message or call our manager and they will explain everything.
01What teaching method do you use?
Communicative Language Teaching (CLT): lessons are built around speaking — pair and group work, role-plays, discussions and real-life situations. Grammar and vocabulary are learned in context, through communication too.
02How long are lessons and how often are they?
Lessons run three times a week and last 1.5 hours each. On top of that, you can practise with a second teacher for 30 minutes every day.
03What if I don’t know my level?
No problem. Our manager will assess your level and suggest the right group — just leave an application or give us a call.
04What does “second teacher” mean?
Lessons are led by a main teacher (General English, IELTS 7.5+) or an IELTS instructor (IELTS groups, 8.0+). A second teacher (7.0+) works with you for 30 minutes every day — going over anything unclear and giving you extra practice.
05What are the attendance rules?
Our system is demanding: students who miss three lessons in a row without a valid reason have to leave the centre. There is also a progress test every 1.5 months.
06Which branch will I study at?
IELTS and General English groups meet at Main Branch and New Branch. Choose whichever is most convenient.
07How does payment work?
You pay monthly. The fee covers lessons, sessions with a second teacher, Cambridge University Press books, Sunday events and the co-working zone.
08Do I pay extra for books?
No. The latest Cambridge University Press books are included in the course fee.
09How much is the IELTS Expert group?
Please ask our manager about the IELTS Expert (8.0+) fee — give us a call or message us on Telegram.
10Who can take the mock?
Anyone — you don’t have to study at IELTS ZONE. IELTS ZONE students get 50% off.
11How does the Speaking test work?
The Speaking test is face-to-face with an examiner — just like the real IELTS.
12Where is the mock held?
At New Branch: 47 Sayilgoh Street (next to Najot Ta’lim). Listening, Reading and Writing are taken on a computer.
13What does the feedback include?
A score for every section, an analysis of your strengths and weaknesses, and clear advice on what to work on before the exam.
